Oxford (SEESOX)<BR><BR>PROGRAMME ON CONTEMPORY TURKEY: Visiting Scholars 
Programme 2006/2007<BR><BR>The Programme on Contemporary Turkey (PCT) at the 
University of Oxford invites applications under its Visiting Scholars 
Programme.&nbsp;&nbsp; <BR>As well as being given the title &#8216;Visiting Scholar&#8217;, 
the visitor will receive a College affiliation with St Antony&#8217;s 
College.&nbsp;Benefits&nbsp;include economy return ticket, local costs (e.g. 
accommodation, work&nbsp;room, meals in College), access to the libraries and 
archive&nbsp;resources of the University and a stipend of 
£250/week.<BR><BR>Applicants should be established post-holding academics with a 
strong record of research on Turkey in any of the disciplines of the humanities 
and social studies.&nbsp; The visiting scholar would be expected to play an 
active role in the activities of the University&nbsp;with respect to the study 
of contemporary Turkey, and to deliver at least one lecture on a related subject 
of his/her choosing.<BR><BR>Applicants should send a copy of their CV (including
